Cyber Security Demo Day 2026 Features Expert Talks from ISRO and Ahmedabad Cyber Crime

As part of the "𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔" on 27th July, 2026, technical speaker sessions were conducted by officials from the Ahmedabad Cyber Crime Department and the Space Applications Centre, ISRO.

The Ahmedabad Cyber Crime Department sessions were led by 𝐏𝐈 𝐁. 𝐍. 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐈 𝐃. 𝐉. 𝐉𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐣𝐚., with presentations by 𝐏𝐒𝐈 𝐏. 𝐏. 𝐙𝐚𝐥𝐚, 𝐏𝐂 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐂 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐛𝐚 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢, who shared real-world cybersecurity challenges and problem statements from the perspective of law enforcement. The discussions covered key focus areas including 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐖𝐞𝐛 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐀𝐈-𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬, 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬, 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐄𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐂𝐓𝐕 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, Device-to-Cloud Data Extraction, Bulk IMSI Reading Systems, and Multi-Generation Caller ID Detection, encouraging startups to develop technology-driven solutions for emerging cyber threats.

The sessions further continued with officials from the 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 (𝐒𝐀𝐂), 𝐈𝐒𝐑𝐎, including 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐊. 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥, 𝐀𝐣𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚, 𝐘𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚, 𝐑𝐨𝐡𝐢𝐭 𝐓𝐲𝐚𝐠𝐢, and 𝐎𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐢, who presented a case study on 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐍𝐒 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬. The speakers shared ISRO's approach towards automated threat intelligence management, DNS filtering, and AI-enabled cyber defence mechanisms, while also outlining the vision for a 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐍𝐒 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, providing participants with insights into cybersecurity solutions for strategic and national applications.
