i-Hub Gujarat Hosts Hon’ble Odisha Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahaling and IT Department Delegation
On 18th August, i-Hub Gujarat hosted the visit of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐮𝐤𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Parliamentary Affairs, and Electronics & Information Technology, Government of Odisha, along with officials from the IT Department of Odisha.
The visit focused on understanding Gujarat’s startup ecosystem, policy frameworks and incubation models, while exploring avenues for inter-state collaboration and engagement with startups.
The interaction included an overview of the Student Startup & Innovation Policy (SSIP), the hub-and-spoke model, and i-Hub Gujarat’s Mind-to-Market approach, covering incubation, grant assistance, mentorship, capacity building, IP support, legal and regulatory guidance, market linkages and infrastructure support. These initiatives form part of i-Hub Gujarat’s end-to-end support system for innovators and startups.
The delegation also interacted with 15 startup founders, who presented their innovations and shared their entrepreneurial journeys. The officials invited the participating startups to explore opportunities in Odisha and extended support for their expansion.
