i-Hub Gujarat Hosts Hon’ble Speaker Shri Shankar Chaudhary and Banas Dairy Leadership
On 31st July 2026, i-Hub Gujarat was honoured to host Hon'ble Shri Shankar Chaudhary, Hon'ble Speaker of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, MLA - Tharad, and Chairman, Banas Dairy. Along with him, senior representatives from Banas Dairy, including Mr. Sangram Chaudhary (Managing Director), Mr. KALPESH F CHAUDHARY (Head – Systems), Mr. ROHIT BAHEKAR (New Initiatives), Dr. Jayesh Patel (New Initiatives), and Mrs. Chetana Chaudhary (New Product Development), visited i-Hub Gujarat for a roundtable interaction.
The roundtable discussion was held with the senior leadership of i-Hub Gujarat and Shri Dilip Kumar Rana, IAS, Commissioner, Higher & Technical Education and CEO, Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat. More than 25 startups, working across healthcare, dairy, agriculture, edtech, and fintech, participated in the discussion.
During the interaction, the delegation engaged with the startups to understand their innovations and the work they are carrying out across diverse sectors. A discussion on the potential application of startup-led technologies in the dairy sector and opportunities for collaboration with Banas Dairy and the Banaskantha cattle ecosystem followed this.
Addressing the gathering, the Hon'ble Shri Shankar Chaudhary spoke about the growing role of innovation in the dairy sector, encouraging startups to create practical solutions in areas such as dairy hygiene, milk quality testing, cattle health, automation, AI-enabled supply chains, waste-to-wealth initiatives, and energy-efficient technologies. He also invited startups to collaborate with Banas Dairy by working on industry-specific problem statements and exploring pilot implementation opportunities through a structured engagement mechanism.
The interaction provided startups with an opportunity to engage with representatives from Banas Dairy, exchange ideas on industry requirements, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
