i-Hub Gujarat Launches Ahmedabad Healthcare Innovation Challenge 2026
“𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡”, was organized at i-Hub Gujarat on 𝟐𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, bringing together representatives from leading hospitals, medical colleges, industry organizations, and ecosystem stakeholders to discuss collaborative approaches for advancing healthcare innovation in Gujarat.
The program marked the 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 of the 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. The challenge aims to provide a structured platform for innovators, researchers, medical professionals, startups, and students to develop and present solutions addressing real-world healthcare challenges.
The program began with opening remarks by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐇𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚, 𝐂𝐄𝐎, 𝐢-𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭, followed by an overview of the Ahmedabad Healthcare Innovation Challenge 2026 by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐡𝐭𝐚, 𝐎𝐒𝐃 - 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐢-𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭. An address was also delivered by 𝐌𝐫. Jaykumar Joshi, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝, 𝐢-𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭, who shared his perspectives on the significance of collaborative efforts in advancing healthcare innovation through the initiative.
Addressing the gathering, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐌𝐮𝐤𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫, 𝐈𝐀𝐒, 𝐀𝐂𝐒, 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 & 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭, and 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐢-𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭, appreciated the launch of the Ahmedabad Healthcare Innovation Challenge 2026 and its vision to create a dedicated platform for the healthcare ecosystem. He noted that such an initiative would encourage medical students and healthcare professionals to present innovative ideas while promoting innovation and entrepreneurship across the healthcare ecosystem.
A special address was delivered by Dr Sandip Shah, Founder, Neuberg Supratech Reference Laboratories, Chairperson, NABL-QCI, shared their perspectives on advancing healthcare innovation through collaboration across the healthcare ecosystem.
